I have respect for all life and believe that abortion should not be used as a form of birth control. I believe an abortion should only be performed in cases of rape, incest, the life of the mother is in danger, or the fetus is not expected to live beyond birth. This should be decided by the couple, the doctor, and clergy, not by the government.

The state population has gone up 22% but the state's budget has gone from 3 billion to 12 billion, which is 400% in 10 years. I believe that there is plenty of money in the budget. We just need to re-prioritize how we spent taxpayer money. I believe that now is the time to cut taxes for the middle class and slow the spending of state government.
Eliminate sales tax on food. Eliminate sales tax on used vehicles. Eliminate marriage license fees. Eliminate copying fees for documents. Eliminate transient room tax. Eliminate fees on all government services.
Why not ask in your questions: Reduce the wages for administrators of the departments, their car allowances, their conferences. How about this one; get rid of all the unnecessary spending that waste the taxpayers money.

Let's get government out of the bedrooms of those that may be same gender living together. If we don't, then where do we draw the lines to privacies in our own homes. Just because two people live together that are of the same gender, does not mean that they are having a sexual relationship and should not be judged as such.
I will fight to have sales tax removed from food. [...] A promise broken, is a mistrust, in the public trust. I believe that there is more to do with how to deal with illegal immigration in this state, as much as the state has authority in it. [...] A promise broken, is a mistrust, in the public trust.
